Christa Decker serves as the Executive Director of Bloom at Rocky River, where she oversees the community’s daily operations, ensuring residents receive exceptional care, services, and an enriching living experience while maintaining high resident and family satisfaction.

Christa brings more than 25 years of experience in senior living, healthcare operations, and nursing leadership. A Registered Nurse and Certified Executive of Assisted Living (CEAL), she has held numerous leadership roles across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, home health, and managed care settings. Her experience includes serving as Executive Director and Wellness Director at Rocky River Village, Regional Director of Nursing for multi-site home health operations, and Director of Nursing in skilled nursing and assisted living communities.

Throughout her career, Christa has been recognized for her ability to build strong teams, maintain regulatory excellence, and create resident-centered care environments that support both clinical quality and meaningful engagement for seniors.

Christa holds an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Lorain County Community College and maintains her Registered Nurse and Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrator licenses in the State of Ohio.

Lindsay is the Community Relations Director at Bloom at Rocky River, where she is responsible for sales, marketing, and helping families navigate the senior living journey.

Lindsay is dedicated to helping older adults and their loved ones find the right care and living solution for their unique needs. Whether you are just beginning your search or ready to make a move, she is here to guide you through every step of the process, answer questions, and help determine if Bloom is the best fit for you and your family.

Prior to joining Bloom, Lindsay served as Director of Sales at Sunrise Senior Living’s Parma community, where she helped families navigate senior living options while building strong relationships throughout the local healthcare community. She was also selected as one of only 40 participants nationwide for the Sunrise Leadership Academy, a leadership development program designed to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.

A graduate of Ohio University, Lindsay brings a diverse professional background that includes experience with several national companies in sales, customer relations, project management, and business development. Before entering the senior living industry, she also worked as an educator, an experience that helped develop the communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills she brings to families every day.

Lindsay’s goal is to make the transition to senior living as comfortable, informed, and stress-free as possible, ensuring every family feels supported and confident in their decision.

Jaylena is the Wellness Director at Bloom at Rocky River, where she oversees resident health and wellness services, clinical coordination, care planning, and medication management to help ensure the highest quality of care for residents.

Jaylena brings a unique blend of clinical, memory care, and leadership experience to her role. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she has extensive experience working with seniors, particularly those living with memory loss and cognitive impairment. Prior to joining Bloom, she served as a Memory Care Coordinator, where she developed individualized care plans, conducted resident assessments, trained team members on memory care best practices, and collaborated closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to support resident well-being.

In addition to her clinical background, Jaylena has experience in human resources, staffing, scheduling, employee onboarding, and team development, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of both resident care and associate support. She is recognized for her compassion, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment for residents.

Jaylena is passionate about helping seniors live with dignity, purpose, and quality of life, and she is dedicated to supporting Bloom at Rocky River’s mission of helping residents flourish.

Rasmieh is the Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for the residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Rasmieh is a seasoned event planner, and her creativity and enthusiasm is second to none.

Jonathan is the Dietary Service Director responsible for overseeing the Dietary Department and makes delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals from scratch every day for our residents using only the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Our residents enjoy a five-star dining experience lead by Jonathan filled with a rich assortment of menu options. In collaboration with our Registered Dietician, Jonathan incorporates resident’s personal recipes, special requests, old time favorites and specific dietary needs so our well-balanced gourmet menus are designed with their health, personal tastes and preferences in mind. Understanding how important great food is to our residents, Jonathan is consistently introducing exciting new cuisines for the community to enjoy.
