Memory Care

Bloom sets the standard for memory care. We offer convenient on-site amenities, personalized services, life enrichment programs and resident centered health care in a professionally managed, access controlled, intimate home setting licensed by the State.

The memory care program is designed for senior adults with cognitive impairments as a result Alzheimer’s or related dementia. We can accommodate residents with early, middle and late stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our program has been innovatively developed by dementia experts with decades of personal and professional experience. Appreciating the unpredictable patterns associated with memory limitations, our team of experts has been specially trained to overcome the unique challenges associated with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The memory care residence incorporates uniquely detailed building designs and a circle of care philosophy ensuring a family friendly, compassionate environment through personalized attention, which allows our residents to regain a sense of independence and enhance their quality of life. From floor plans and furnishings to activities and programming, the memory care program has been carefully designed to provide a stimulating, yet manageable living space. We have created an atmosphere that nurtures life and living by encouraging our residents to be who they are, celebrating their lives and the joys of life yet to come!

There are private (or semi-private apartment) options. We offer month-to-month rentals with no buy-in fees or long-term leases. All personalized services are included in the monthly rent, such as Chef-prepared meals (as part of the Five Star Dining Program), 24-hour support staff, activity and wellness programs, assistance with daily living (i.e. waking, dressing, bathing, dining and grooming), medication management, transportation, special dietary needs, incontinence care, mealtime reminders, nighttime checks, escort services, incontinence, monitoring of social and behavior habits, laundry, linen and housekeeping services, special 24-hour memory care programs dependent upon the resident’s needs and much more! With no “tiers,” “points,” or “levels of care,” our innovative and affordable fixed-rate program is all-inclusive and predictable.

Our caring associates work with the resident’s families to complete the “Habits of a Lifetime” assessment and develop an individualized care plan tailored around each resident’s habits, needs and preferences. Learning each resident’s special life story allows Bloom to engage in meaningful conversations and interesting activities that helps our residents Bloom!

Alzheimer’s and dementia does not stop a baker from wanting to bake, an artist from wanting to paint or a fisherman from wanting to fish. While some residents may have lost their short term memories, our mission, through our sensory-based programming, personalized services and resident centered care, 24-hour full calendar of activities, exercise and wellness programs and high staff-to-resident ratios, is to stimulate the long term memories that remain intact allowing our residents to continue being who they have always been.
